The Friends of Saint Michael's

The Friends of Saint Michael's, was founded in January 2002 to support the choir and the sacred music program at Saint Michael's. The charity has been a stable support for the choir and for the organist and choir director over the years.

We planned and held our first fund-raising concert, on Saturday, November 23rd, 2002, the day after Saint Cecelia's Day. Saint Cecelia is, of course, the patron saint of music and the music for the concert included the Ode to Saint Cecelia by Purcell.

Everyone is invited to visit Saint Michael's, particularly during the cold Canadian winters, when Cuernavaca enjoys the beautiful mild weather in this Valley of Perpetual Spring, or, as they say in Spanish, La Primavera Eterna.
